I got to see you play for the first time on Halloween Night at the House of Blues, and you were fantastic. Hey Ruth! We met outside of the House Of Blues on July 18th! I was working for the headlining band that night and I watched your set before they went on and I loved every minute of it. Your voice and style of playing gave me a smile from ear to ear throughout the whole performance. Hi Ruth, this is Mellissa I went to "The festival of the Masters" today and well, I heard you singing and it caught my attention, so I decided to sit and watch you play and look around with the flow of the music. I was thinking to myself if I could request a song but I was too shy to go up and ask so I sat and listened and well ironically the very next song after thinking about the song I wanted you to play.. was that song. And it was "fast Car" by Tracy Chapman and I got sooo excited and started singing.
